An Ecosystem for Good
SHAREWELL is a growing network of mission-driven organizations united by a shared commitment to creating lasting public benefit.
Each organization within the SHAREWELL network has its own identity, expertise, and mission. Together, they form an ecosystem where ideas, knowledge, and resources are shared to strengthen communities and expand impact.
Today, that network includes Cayton Children’s Museum, GROW/WILD, and emerging initiatives designed to enrich families, strengthen communities, and care for the environment. As SHAREWELL grows, so will this connected ecosystem—bringing together new organizations and ideas that share a common purpose and create more impact together than they ever could alone.

Cayton Children’s Museum
As SHAREWELL’s flagship institution, Cayton Children’s Museum is built on the belief that play has the power to strengthen children, families, and communities. Every exhibit, program, and experience is designed to spark curiosity, inspire creativity, encourage empathy, and foster resilience through value-based play, hands-on exploration, and meaningful shared experiences—because at the Cayton, we’re Playing Our Way to
a Better World.
Every visit is thoughtfully designed to encourage children and caregivers to discover, imagine, and learn together. Through immersive exhibits, educator-led programs, school partnerships, and community experiences, the Cayton creates opportunities that support healthy childhood development while fostering meaningful connections between families and their communities. By making learning joyful, interactive, and accessible, the museum helps children build the confidence, creativity, and compassion they’ll carry throughout their lives.
A cornerstone of this commitment is PLAY4ALL, the Cayton’s financial accessibility initiative, providing discounted memberships and community access programmes for families across Los Angeles. By reducing financial barriers to participation, PLAY4ALL helps ensure more children and caregivers can experience the joy and benefits of play-based learning, regardless of economic circumstances. Together with Title I field trips and other community outreach efforts, the initiative has already welcomed more than 26,000 PLAY4ALL participants, reflecting ShareWell’s commitment to creating experiences that inspire every child to learn,
connect, and thrive.
Since opening in 2019, the Cayton has welcomed nearly one million visitors, serves more than 157,000 children and caregivers each year, and reaches families representing more than 200 ZIP codes across Los Angeles. More than 2,734 Title I students have experienced the museum through educational field trips, demonstrating the Cayton’s commitment to making play-based learning accessible to children and families throughout the region.
As the cornerstone of SHAREWELL’s growing ecosystem, the Cayton continues to demonstrate how purposeful play can strengthen communities and create lasting public benefit. Building on that mission, the museum is launching Community Connections, a mobile fleet that brings interactive exhibits, hands-on play experiences, and educator-led programming directly to neighborhoods, schools, parks, libraries, festivals, and community events throughout Los Angeles. Featuring portable museum experiences alongside STEAM activities, art, storytelling, sensory play, movement, and family engagement, Community Connections will extend the Cayton’s mission far beyond its walls—bringing the power of play to children and families wherever they are.
